RADIO WIGWAM is a radio station with a real purpose. It isn’t about core demographics, approved playlists or hidden agendas – it’s a community of music lovers and independent artists, united by playing good quality music and providing a platform for supporting emerging, under-the-radar talent from across the globe.
Radio Wigwam is no ordinary radio station, in fact it is more than just a radio station. As well as playing non-stop fantastic music we showcase independent artists via multiple radio shows 24/7 via DAB, web & app with no on-air ads. We also have teamed up with plenty of music industry organisations, festivals and venues where we organise live shows further helping grassroots music.
As well as a packed roster of shows, we also produce podcasts, and host indie showcases across the UK & beyond at iconic venues such as The Bedford, Firevolt & Wokingham Festivals, Focus Wales, Help Musicians & many more – plus we host our annual indie awards ceremony.
Since our inception, we’ve been fortunate to build strong relationships with industry leaders, including Music Venue Trust, LMSUK, Groover, Red Lantern Records, and many more. Our network has allowed us to engage with some of the UK’s most notable music events, and we’d love for you to be a part of our success.
We have developed a wealth of dedicated, talented DJs and presenters from professional hosts and curators to musicians who have found a new channel to express their passion, Radio Wigwam boasts a diverse roster of presenters providing only the very best music to our audience.
The Radio Wigwam Awards places us at the forefront of the independent music scene, recognised by the indie community as the leader in recognising global talent. Artists and music professionals travel from all over the globe to our London awards now in our 9th year and this the best opportunity to support this global community.
We are not afraid to be different in our quest to support independent music from all over the world. We don’t take ourselves too seriously but we are deadly serious about the music and artists we support.
