BATTLE OF THE BANDS

 

Do you have what it takes to play at one of the UK’s finest rock festivals?

 

Radio Wigwam is holding a Battle Of The Bands competition, and the winner will perform at this year’s Firevolt Rock Festival!

We are starting our search for the finest ORIGINAL rock bands from Wales and the West to perform on the Radio Wigwam Stage at the legendary Firevolt MCR Rock Festival on Sunday 10th August 2025.

You have to be in it to win it and YOUR BAND has a chance to win!

 

Four bands will be chosen to play at our LIVE Battle of the Bands, on Friday 23rd May, 2025 at Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff, Wales and the winner will play at Firevolt 2025!

 

All band submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from Radio Wigwam, plus other industry professionals.

The rules:

All bands must be registered as an Artist and submit an application via our website: https://radiowigwam.co.uk/battle-of-the-bands by midday (12:00pm) on Friday 04 April, 2025.

Your application should include a link to your music and a video of a live performance.  This can be from a live gig or a rehearsal room. (Please ensure the sound is clear on any recording, as this is the entire basis for your submission).

You must also follow Radio Wigwam on either Facebook or Instagram, for updates.

All band members must be 18+, by the date of the live Battle of the Bands (23 May 2025).

Classic, heavy & alternative rock genres considered.

Original music only please – no cover or tribute bands.

Your band MUST be available to play at the Battle of The Bands show on Friday 23rd May, 2025 in Cardiff and also be available to play at The Firevolt MCR Rock Festival in Stockport, Manchester on Sunday 10th August 2025.

All applicants will be notified within 7 days of the submission deadline.
